Fintech Startup Spare Wins At Pitch Globally-Los Angeles Sharktank-Style December Event

Los Angeles, CA –  Fintech startup  Spare, which offers an app that cuts out the ATM so you can withdraw cash at your nearest shop. was adjudged as the winning pitch at Pitch Globally-Los Angeles’ recent sharktank-style pitch event and holiday party.

Represented at the event by founder D’Ontra Hughes, Spare does away with ATM’s and gives the extra option of avoiding ATM fees or potential theft by cash machine skimmers.  To date, the app already has 1,200 customers signed up and 150 merchants willing to put their money where their mouth is.

Held at the sumptuous WeWork Fine Arts building in Downtown Los Angeles, the event featured the following startups in addition to Spare:
